“In the golden dawn of tomorrow, duty awaits us, and ours will be the honor if we walk in her ways. Vast are the spheres for our labor, vaster are our responsibilities. Let us act worthily of our day, not lying down in ignoble, but acting a brave part in lifting heavenward our fellow man.”

“People like the opinions to which they have become accustomed from their youth; they defend them and shun contrary views: and this is one of things that prevents people from finding the truth, for they cling to the opinions of habit.”

The Adventures of Rumi and Bixby Bear

Rumi is a young girl with a speech disorder who struggled to communicate with children her age. This led her to lose confidence in herself and eventually made her want to stop attending school. The story will outline the different struggles that Rumi and Bixby Bear will face as they walk on the big road called Life. The book had also explored different ways to creatively combine the different lessons from Jalāl ad-Dīn Muhammad Rūmī’s poetry in a way that’s easy and fun for children ages 7 and up to understand.
